Camping not your thing? Miami has lots & lots of options for staying elsewhere. We encourage you to look around for locally owned spots & certified green-eco-sustainable hotels! There are also hostels in the area and lots of B&Bs. Key Biscayne is the closest & probably the most convenient place to stay. There are vacation rental houses, condos, & apartments in for rent there in addition to some resorts & hotels.
